The Foundation for All Good Qualities (Yönten shigyurma)
功德之本頌
(1) ཡོན་ཏན་ཀུན་གྱི་གཞིར་གྱུར་དྲིན་ཆེན་རྗེ། ། 雲滇 棍吉 西久 今間皆 諸功德本大恩師 Yön ten kün gyi shir gyur trin chen je Please bless me so that, having clearly seen that ཚུལ་བཞིན་བསྟེན་པ་ལམ་གྱི་རྩ་བ་རུ། ། 促新 滇巴 藍吉 紮哇如 如理依止為道本 tsul shin ten pa lam gyi tsawa ru Correct reliance on the kind spiritual Master who is the foundation of all qualities, ལེགས་པར་མཐོང་ནས་འབད་པ་དུ་མ་ཡིས། ། 雷巴 同內 貝巴 杜麻伊 深見此已多精勤 Lekpar tong ne bey pa duma yi Is the root of the Path, གུས་པ་ཆེན་པོས་བསྟེན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 固巴 千波 滇巴 今吉洛 虔敬依止祈加持 Küpa chen pö ten par chin gyi lop I apply numerous efforts to rely upon the Guru with high respect. (2) ལན་ཅིག་རྙེད་པའི་དལ་བའི་རྟེན་བཟང་འདི། ། 連吉 內貝 迭威 滇桑迪 一度所得暇滿身 Len chik nye pey del wey ten sang di Please bless me so that, having realized that this excellent support endowed with freedom. ཤིན་ཏུ་རྙེད་དཀའ་དོན་ཆེ་ཤེས་གྱུར་ནས། ། 新杜 內嘎 敦千 協久內 難得義大了知已 shin tu nye ka dön chen she gyur ne That I have found, but once, ཉིན་མཚན་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྙིང་བོ་ལེན་པའི་བློ། ། 尼千 棍杜 寧波 連貝洛 日夜六時無間斷 Nyin tsen kün tu nying po len pey lo Is extremely difficult to obtain and has a great potential, རྒྱུན་ཆད་མེད་པར་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 君切 美巴 皆哇 今吉洛 恆取心要祈加持 gyün che me par kye war chin gyi lop I constantly generate the mind taking its essence, day and night. (3) ལུས་སྲོག་གཡོ་བ་ཆུ་ཡི་ཆུ་བུར་བཞིན། ། 呂索 友哇 秋伊 秋布新 身命不定如水沫 Lü sok yowa chu yi chu bur shin Like bubbles on water, body and life-force are unstable མྱུར་དུ་འཇིག་པའི་འཆི་བ་དྲན་པ་དང༌། ། 紐杜 吉貝 企哇 珍巴當 迅即趨滅當念死 nyur du jik pey chi wa dren pa dang And will quickly perish, hence bear in mind death and impermanence. ཤི་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ལུས་དང་གྲིབ་མ་བཞིན། ། 西威 皆蘇 呂當 吉麻新 黑白二業如身影 Shiwey je su lü dang drip ma shin After death, just like a shadow follows the body, དཀར་ནག་ལས་འབྲས་ཕྱི་བཞིན་འབྲང་བ་ལ། ། 嘎納 連哲 企新 章哇拉 此命盡已常相隨 kar nak le dre chi shin drang wa la The results of negative and positive actions will follow behind. (4) ངེས་པ་བརྟན་པོ་རྙེད་ནས་ཉེས་པའི་ཚོགས། ། 內巴 滇波 內內 內貝措 決定必獲善惡報 Nge pa ten po nye ne nye pey tsok Please bless me so that, having gained firm conviction in this, ཕྲ་ཞིང་ཕྲ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སྤོང་བ་དང༌། ། 察興 察哇 南江 邦哇當 微細惡資亦當捨 tra shin tra wa name kyang pong wa dang I always be heedful དགེ་ཚོགས་མཐའ་དག་སྒྲུབ་པར་བྱེད་པ་ལ། ། 給措 他達 主巴 皆巴拉 修集一切善資糧 Ge tsok ta dak drup par che pa la Of abandoning the collection of bad deeds even the slightest རྟག་ཏུ་བག་དང་ལྡན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 達杜 巴當 滇巴 今吉洛 恆思戒謹祈加持 tak tu pak dang den par chin gyi lop and of extensively accomplishing collection of virtuous deeds. (5) སྤྱད་པས་མི་ངོམས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཀུན་གྱི་སྒོ། ། 皆貝 米我 杜內 棍吉果 慾無厭足眾苦門 Che be mi ngom duk ngel kün gyi go Please bless me so that, having understood ཡིད་བརྟན་མི་རུང་སྲིད་པའི་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི། ། 伊滇 米容 西貝 朋措吉 世間圓滿不足信 yi ten mi rung si bey püntsok kyi The shortcomings of the excellence of existence ཉེས་དམིགས་རིག་ནས་ཐར་བའི་བདེ་བ་ལ། ། 內米 利內 他貝 迭哇拉 知諸過患於至樂 Nye mik rik ne tar pey de wa la Which gives no satisfaction when enjoyed, is the door to all sufferings and is not reliable, དོན་གཉེར་ཆེན་པོ་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 敦內 千波 皆哇 今吉洛 心生渴仰祈加持 dön nyer chen po kye war chin kyi lop I generate a strong aspiration for the bliss of liberation. (6) རྣམ་དག་བསམ་པ་དེ་ཡིས་དྲངས་པ་ཡི། ། 南達 三巴 迭伊 章巴伊 清淨意樂為引導 Nam dak sampa de yi drang pa yi Please bless me so that motivated by this pure thought, དྲན་དང་ཤེས་བཞིན་བག་ཡོད་ཆེན་པོ་ཡིས། ། 珍當 協新 巴友 千波伊 正念正知不放逸 dren dang she shin pak yö chen po yi I make with great mindfulness, vigilance and heedfulness བསྟན་པའི་རྩ་བ་སོ་སོར་ཐར་བ་ལ། ། 滇貝 紮哇 索索 他巴拉 別解脫戒教之本 Ten bey tsa wa so sor tar pa la the keeping of individual liberation vows which is the root of the Teaching སྒྲུབ་པ་སྙིང་བོར་བྱེད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 主巴 寧波 皆巴 今吉洛 精勤修持祈加持 drup pa nyin por che par chin gyi lop My essential practice. (7) རང་ཉིད་སྲིད་མཚོར་ལྷུང་བ་ཇི་བཞིན་དུ། ། 讓尼 西措 隆哇 吉新杜 猶如自身墮輪迴 Ran nyi si tsor lhung wa ji shin du Please bless me so that, having seen that, མར་གྱུར་འགྲོ་བ་ཀུན་ཀྱང་དེ་འདྲ་བར། ། 麻久 卓哇 棍江 迭札哇 如母眾生亦如是 mar gyur dro wa kün kyang de dra war Just as I have fallen into the sea of samsara མཐོང་ནས་འགྲོ་བ་སྒྲོལ་བའི་ཁུར་འཁྱེར་བའི། ། 同內 卓哇 卓威 庫切威 見已荷負度生業 Tong ne dro wa dröl wey kur kyer wey So have all mother transmigratory beings, བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་མཆོག་འབྱོངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 江秋 森秋 炯巴 今吉洛 習勝菩提祈加持 jang chup sem chok jong par chin gyi lop I train in the supreme Enlightenment mind (Bodhicitta). (8) སེམས་ཙམ་བསྐྱེད་ཀྱང་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་རྣམ་གསུམ་ལ། ། 森贊 皆江 促青 南孫拉 未持三戒僅發心 Sem tsam kye kyang tsul trim nam sum la Please bless me so that, having clearly seen that གོམས་པ་མེད་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་མི་འགྲུབ་པར། ། 共巴 美納 江秋 米主巴 菩提圓覺終不成 gom pa me na jang chub mi drup par Even if I develop Bodhicitta, I cannot achieve Enlightenment ལེགས་པར་མཐོང་ནས་རྒྱལ་སྲས་སྡོམ་པ་ལ། ། 雷巴 同內 皆色 東巴拉 見此而於菩薩戒 Lek par tong ne gyel se dom pa la If I do not familiarize myself with the three types of ethics, བརྩོན་པ་དྲག་པོས་སློབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 尊巴 札波 洛巴 今吉洛 勵力勤習祈加持 tsön pa drak pö lop par chin gyi lop I train with great endeavor in the vows of the Sons of the Victorious. (9) ལོག་པའི་ཡུལ་ལ་གཡེངས་པ་ཞི་བྱེད་ཅིང༌། ། 洛貝 友拉 煙哇 西皆今 止息邪境散逸心 Lok pey yul la yeng wa shi che chin Please bless me so that, having pacified distractions toward wrong objects ཡང་དག་དོན་ལ་ཚུལ་བཞིན་དཔྱོད་པ་ཡིས། ། 央達 敦拉 促新 覺巴伊 如理伺察真實義 yang dak dön la tsul shin chö pa yi And correctly analyzed the ultimate meaning, ཞི་གནས་ལྷག་མཐོང་ཟུང་དུ་འབྲེལ་བའི་ལམ། ། 西內 拉同 松杜 哲威藍 由是止觀雙運道 Shi ne lhak tong sung du drel wey lam I quickly generate on my mind stream མྱུར་དུ་རྒྱུད་ལ་སྐྱེ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 紐杜 久拉 皆巴 今吉洛 速起心續祈加持 nyur du gyu la kye war chin gyi lop The Path that combined calm abiding and special insight. (10) ཐུན་མོང་ལམ་སྦྱང་སྣོད་དུ་གྱུར་བ་ན། ། 屯孟 藍江 諾杜 久巴納 若習共道成法器 Tune mong lam jang nö du gyur pa na When I have become a suitable vessel by training in the common path, ཐེག་པ་ཀུན་གྱི་མཆོག་གྱུར་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཐེག ། 帖巴 棍吉 秋久 多皆帖 諸乘最勝金剛乘 tek pa kün gyi chok gyur dor je tek Please bless me to quickly and easily enter སྐལ་བཟང་སྐྱེ་བོའི་འཇུག་ངོགས་དམ་པ་དེར། ། 給桑 皆我 久我 當巴迭 賢種士夫勝津梁 Kel sang kye wö juk ngok dam pa der The Vajrayana, the supreme of all Vehicles བདེ་བླག་ཉིད་དུ་འཇུག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 迭拉 尼杜 久巴 今吉洛 順利得入祈加持 de lak nyi du juk par chin gyi lop The excellent gateway of the fortunate beings. (11) དེ་ཚེ་དངོས་གྲུབ་རྣམ་གཉིས་སྒྲུབ་པའི་གཞི། ། 迭策 我主 南尼 主貝西 證成二種悉地本 De tse ngö drup nam nyi drup pey shi Please bless me so that, at that time, having gained the firm and genuine conviction རྣམ་དག་དམ་ཚིག་སྡོམ་པར་གསུངས་པ་ལ། ། 南達 當企 東巴 松哇拉 清淨誓戒善護持 nam dak dam tsik dom par sung wa la That the basis of accomplishing the two attainments བཅོས་མ་མིན་པའི་ངེས་པ་རྙེད་གྱུར་ནས། ། 覺麻 民貝 內巴 內久內 真實不偽得堅固 Chö ma min pey nge pa nye gyur ne Is to keep my vows and commitments purely, སྲོག་དང་བསྡོས་ཏེ་སྲུང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 索當 東迭 松哇 今吉洛 盡命守護祈加持 sok dang dö te sung war chin gyi lop I protect them even at the cost of my life. (12) དེ་ནས་རྒྱུད་སྡེ་སྙིང་བོ་རིམ་གཉིས་ཀྱི། ། 迭內 居迭 寧波 林尼吉 續部心要二次第 De ne gyu dey nyin po rim nyi kyi Please bless me so that, having realized exactly as they are the vital points གནད་རྣམས་ཇི་བཞིན་རྟོགས་ནས་བརྩོན་པ་ཡིས། ། 內南 吉新 多內 尊巴伊 達其要義起精進 ne nam ji shin tok ne tsön pa yi Of the two stages that are the essence of the Tantras, ཐུན་བཞིའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་སྤྱོད་ལས་མི་གཡེལ་བར། ། 屯西 南久 覺雷 米耶哇 四座瑜珈不懈墮 Tün shi nel jor chö le mi yel war I diligently actualize them in accord with the Speech of the Holy Beings, དམ་པའི་གསུང་བཞིན་སྒྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། ། 當貝 松新 主巴 今吉洛 如說修行祈加持 dam pey sung shin drup par chin gyi lop Never straying from the activity of the yoga in four sessions. (13) དེ་ལྟར་ལམ་བཟང་སྟོན་པའི་བཤེས་གཉེན་དང༌། ། 迭達 藍桑 敦貝 協年當 示茲妙道善知識 De tar lam sang tön pey she nyen dang Bestow your blessings so that the spiritual guides who reveal the excellent Path ཚུལ་བཞིན་སྒྲུབ་པའི་གྲོགས་རྣམས་ཞབས་བརྟན་ཅིང༌། ། 促新 主貝 卓南 夏滇今 如理熏修侶常住 tsul shin drup pey drok nam shap ten chin And the friends who correctly achieve it have long lives, ཕྱི་དང་ནང་གི་བར་དུ་གཅོད་པའི་ཚོགས། ། 企當 納給 巴杜 覺貝措 內外所有諸障礙 Chi dang nang gi bar du chö pey tsok Bestow your blessings so that the collections of outer and inner obstacles ཉེ་བར་ཞི་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། ། 內哇 西哇 今吉 拉杜索 究竟消滅祈加持 nye war shi war chin gyi lap tu söl Be completely pacified. (14) སྐྱེ་བ་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཡང་དག་བླ་མ་དང་། ། 皆哇 棍杜 央達 拉麻當 願我生生遇明師 Kye wa kün tu yang dak la ma dang In all my lives, never separated from perfect Gurus, བྲལ་མེད་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དཔལ་ལ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཅིང་། ། 哲美 卻吉 貝拉 隆覺今 飽餐甘露妙法味 drel me chö kyi pel la long chö chin May I enjoy the magnificence of Dharma, ས་དང་ལམ་གྱི་ཡོན་ཏན་རབ་རྫོགས་ནས། ། 沙當 藍吉 雲滇 拉左內 十地五道功德滿 Sa dang lam gyi yön ten rap dzok ne And by perfectly completing the qualities of the grounds and paths, རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་གི་གོ་འཕང་མྱུར་འཐོབ་ཤོག། 多皆 強給 果胖 紐透修 速疾證得金剛持 dor je chang gi go pang nyur top sho May I quickly attain the state of Vajradhara. ཅེས་པ་འདི་ནི་རྗེ་ཙོང་ཁ་པ་བློ་བཟང་གྲགས་པས་མཛད་པའོ།། 宗喀巴大師造 Composed by Je Tsongkhapa Losang Drakpa.
