Princess Wencheng; 文成公主; Tibetan: མུན་ཅང་ཀོང་ཅོའི (); Wylie: mun cang kong co’i;
Princess Wencheng (628-680) travelled to Tibet in 640 to marry King Songtsen Gampo. Together with Bhrikuti, the Nepalese queen of Songtsen Gampo, she played an important role in establishing Buddhism and building many temples in Tibet. She was held in very high regard in Tibet and was considered to be the physical manifestation of Green Tara.
文成公主 (628-680) 本是唐室遠支宗室女,於640年奉唐太宗之命和親吐蕃贊普松贊干布,備受藏族尊崇,傳說是綠度母的化身。
