Vishnu, one of the Trimurti, is the Hindu god meaning “all pervasive, everywhere”, often appearing with his mount, Garuda, the sacred eagle. The consort of Vishnu is Lakshmi.
In Buddhism, Vishnu is a protector, particularly important in Sri Lanka.
毘濕奴是印度教三相神之一,意思是“無所不在,無處不在”,坐騎是大鵬金翅鳥 (迦樓羅)。 毘濕奴的配偶是吉祥天女 (拉克希米)。
毘濕奴是佛教護法,在斯里蘭卡尤為重要。
