Sambhogakaya is one of the three bodies (trikaya) of a buddha in Mahayana Buddhism. Buddhas manifest in Sambhogakaya form so that Bodhisattvas can perceive and receive teachings. It is a subtle, enjoyment body beyond duality, space and time, achieved through accumulated merits and achievements.
