In Buddhist philosophy, pudgala refers to the concept of a “person” or “individual,” often discussed in the context of the anatman (no-self) doctrine, without implying an inherent, permanent self.

This is an beta (testing) version of our Chinese / English / Sanskrit / Tibetan Buddhism popup dictionary system. We are still in the process of fine tuning the structure and layout of the system and resolving some minor issues.
