Chotrul Dawa, Month of Miracles; 神變月;
Chotrul Dawa is the First Tibetan month of the year. It commemorates the time in India when Shakyamuni Buddha subdued six Indian masters, leading many to collectively take refuge in Buddhism.
Monlam Chenmo is held during this month. The main events include monks chanting prayers, teaching the Buddha’s Jataka tales, giving Dharma talks, engaging in debates, establishing philosophical tenets, and conducting examinations for new Lharampa Geshe degrees.
每年藏歷年正月稱為神變月, 紀念釋迦牟尼佛當時在印度降服六個外道大師，令很多外道師徒集體歸依了佛教。
每年神變月舉行神變祈願大法會，法會內容主要是僧眾誦經祈禱，講授佛陀本生傳，講經辯經，相法立宗，考取新的拉讓巴格西等。
