Samadhi, meditative absorption or one-pointed meditation, is the highest perfect concentration state of mind. The mind is concentrated on a single object and gradually calmed until the distinction between the object and the meditator disappears. This is the realization of non-dualism. Samadhi is one of five object-determining mental states.
