བྱོར་བ་བཅུ

Ten Endowments of Precious Human Birth; 暇滿人生十圓滿; Tibetan: བྱོར་བ་བཅུ (byor ba bcu); Wylie: byor ba bcu; Sanskrit: Dasa Sampadah;

The Five Circumstantial Endowments:

  1. a buddha has come
  2. he has taught the Dharma
  3. the teachings have survived
  4. there are followers of the teachings
  5. there are favourable conditions for Dharma practice

The Five Personal Endowments

  1. being a human being
  2. born in a central land
  3. with faculties intact
  4. lifestyle not harmful or wrong
  5. with faith in the three pitakas

暇滿人生十圓滿:  五自圓滿：

  1. 投生人道。
  2. 生於佛法興盛的地方。
  3. 諸根俱足。
  4. 未犯五無間罪（或叫他人犯或隨喜他人犯）。
  5. 對佛、法、僧三寶有真實信心。

五他圓滿：

  1. 值佛出世：如果沒有佛降臨人間，世界上也就不可能有佛法。
  2. 佛轉法輪：如果佛已出世，但沒有說法，我們也得不到利益。
  3. 佛法住世：佛說了法還不夠，佛的教法還沒有衰滅，仍然流傳著。
  4. 無論各種階級、種族的人，都能自由地修學佛法，即佛法住世而自己也能自主地進入、追隨佛法。
  5. 有善知識將佛法傳授講解給我們，教導我們如何依法修行。

This is an beta (testing) version of our Chinese / English / Sanskrit / Tibetan Buddhism popup dictionary system.
