Gungtang Rinpoche

Gungtang Rinpoche; 貢唐大師, 貢唐大師; Tibetan: གུང་ཐང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ;  Wylie: dge ‘dun phun tshogs;

Gungtang Rinpoche is a major reincarnate lineage within the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, based at Labrang Monastery in Amdo, and counted as the foremost of the monastery’s four great throne-holders. The lineage began with the First Gungtang Rinpoche, who served as the fiftieth Ganden Tripa, the supreme throne of the Gelug tradition.

貢唐大師是藏傳佛教格魯派的重要轉世活佛系統，根本寺院為安多地區的拉卜楞寺，並被尊為該寺四大賽赤（金座法王）之首。第一世貢唐大師曾任格魯派最高法座甘丹赤巴的第五十任。

This is an beta (testing) version of our Chinese / English / Sanskrit / Tibetan Buddhism popup dictionary system.
