Supported Languages of this website || 本網站使用的語言

This site has been designed with many unique features for learning Tibetan Buddhism.

The primary languages of this website are Tibetan, Traditional Chinese and English. If you wish to read in Simplified Chinese, please install a Simplified font convertor/extension in your browser.
For technical reasons, English pages are usually setup first. Vietnamese and French are secondary languages and have less translated contents at this time.
A user can select one of the above 5 languages as the main language for his/her own use by selecting from the main menu or from the front page (see screen captures below).
In the event that a page is not yet translated in your selected language, the page is displayed in English. In some cases, only Chinese contents are available and pages in other languages are shown in Chinese only.

Multiple Language on same Webpage || 多種語言網頁顯示

A special feature of our site is the ability to select any combination of languages (1 or more) to display a multi-language page. Simply click the language selection button in the top right corner of any page (see screen captures below). The list of languages in the popup window depends on the actual languages available in the current page. Your selection is remembered in your browser (using cookies) for future use.
Some sadhana and prayer pages are setup with additional languages such as German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian all in the same page. For example, the Heart Sutra page currently has 11 languages:
      有些頁面有更多的翻譯語言如德語,印尼語,意大利語,日語,波蘭語,葡萄牙語,西班牙語,俄語等。例如心經頁現有 11 種語言:。

Tibetan and Buddhism Dictionary || 藏文和佛教詞典

Our site has a Tibetan language and Buddhism popup dictionary. Sanskrit transliteration is usually provided for Buddhism terms.

For computer displays, if you leave the mouse cursor briefly on a dictionary term (displayed with a line below the term), the page will automatically show a popup window with English and Chinese explanation / translation. For devices without mouse cursor, such as tablets and mobile phones, simply click an underlined term to see the popup.

This popup dictionary is particularly useful for learning Tibetan, especially when combined with multiple language text display above.
Some entries have longer notes in addition to basic explanations. Please click “Open Dictionary Entry” link in the popup window to open the full dictionary term page.

      有些條目還有更長的註釋, 請在彈出窗口點擊“打開辭典”打開完整的頁面。
