Paranirmita Vasavartin; 他化自在天; Tibetan: གཞནའཕྲུལ་དབངབྱེད; Wylie: gzhan.’phrul dbang.byed; Sanskrit: Pari-nirmita-vaśa-vartin;

Paranirmita Vasavartin is the top of the Six Heavens of the Desire Realm ruled by Vasavartin. These deva beings are known as “with power over (others’) creations”. They do not create pleasing forms that they desire for themselves, but their desires are fulfilled by the acts of other devas who wish for their favor. This world is also the home of the devaputra (being of divine race) called Mara, who endeavors to keep all beings of the Kamadhatu in the grip of sensual pleasures.

According to Sarvastivada tradition, the beings of this world are 4,500 feet (1,400 m) tall and live for 16,000 years or 9,216,000,000 human years (1 day here is 1,600 human years). The height of this world is 1,280 yojanas above the Earth.

是欲界六欲天的第六天，1280 由旬高。第六天魔王波旬居住在此天。此天人無須自己行樂，而愛下凡到世間遊戲變化，以他人之樂事而爲自在，故曰「他化自在天」。他們為了自身有長久的快樂之源泉，便要使得世人都沉溺於欲樂。據龍樹菩薩《大智度論》所說，他化自在天眾生以他人的寶貝化做自己遊戲而自在的天界。

此天一晝夜為人間的一千六百年，此天人的壽命為一萬六千歲，合人間 92億1600萬年；身長1又1/2俱盧舍。男女情愛之事暫時相視即可完成，但聞語聲或聞香氣，即為完全，不待瞻視。新生兒在膝上化生。
