Lamrim (stages of the path) is a Tibetan Buddhist teaching for the stages in the complete path to enlightenment as taught by Buddha. Atisa wrote the first root text, « A Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment ». Many Tibetan masters wrote many versions including Tsongkhapa’s masterpiece « Lamrim Chenmo » (The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path of Enlightenment).

道次第是藏傳佛教，根據不同人資質根器不同，將修學劃分為數個不同階段的道路所寫成的修法書籍。最早出現的著作是阿底峽的《菩提道燈論》，宗喀巴著有《菩提道次第廣論》。
