Negative Karma<\/a>; 罪障, 業障<\/strong>;<\/p>\n

The sufferings we experience in this life are all the result of negative karma<\/a> accumulated in past lives. Negative karma<\/a> can also obstruct practitioners from attaining realizations at various stages of the path<\/a>. Therefore, the primary task in spiritual practice<\/a> is to purify negative karma<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To purify negative karma<\/a> through practice, a practitioner must fully cultivate the “four powers” (reliance power, antidote power, removal power, and protective power) to achieve success.<\/p>\n

吾人此生所承受的種種痛苦，皆由於過去世所造作的惡業所感召；惡業亦能障礙行者無法證得各種道次第<\/a>之證量，因此，修行之首要課題，即為淨除罪障。<\/p>\n
