Naga, one of the Eight Astasena, is a race of serpent or dragon spirits, living under ground or in water, rocks, caves or trees with magical power and wealth. They may appear in semi-serpent and semi-human forms.
Nagaraja is king of nagas and naginis. Nagas follow Virupaksa, the Heavenly King of the west. They are the guards of Mount Sumeru to protect Trayastrimsa.
龍眾是佛經上一類蛇神,專管興雲降雨,是天龍八部護法之一。
